With both the salmon and trout season officially underway, this Saturday (17th) the opening ceremony will take place on the banks of the Kelvin inside Kelvingrove Park. The rearranged demonstration from Donald Forbes takes place on Wednesday (7th) night at the Islay Inn (On Argyle Street, near Kelvingrove Art Gallery). The last demonstration focused on fly tying, this week we will be looking at trout tactics and the set ups that Donald uses when representing Scotland in international river and loch competitions.…

Unfortunately Donald has been called to a meeting with the Scottish Rivers Team, so we have to postpone tomorrow night’s demonstration at the Islay Inn. We are moving it back to the following Wednesday which is the 7th of March (7.30pm). I hope to see you there. Kind regards, Paul
